This morning I read an article about how Olga’s Diner is going to be torn down and redeveloped into medical offices. The diner was a South Jersey staple and landmark in its heyday. I get that it’s abandoned and in bad shape now, but I wish the diner and its old neon signage could be revitalized.
Had no idea it was supposed to rain today, lol. The sky was pretty cool though! This is the road on the way to Cracker Barrel.
My mom and I took a trip to Grounds for Sculpture today. It’s a sculpture park in the central part of Jersey. We took out time walking around the park and soaking in the sunny weather. I sketched my mom sitting next to a sculpture by Seward Johnson.
A sketch of the cars nearby in the mall parking lot. That’s Corner Bakery Cafe in the right corner.
